From Fundamental to Application is focused on research projects that want to find their way to application and relevancy in any sector of the society and to contribute to a better quality of people’s life. Finding the societal relevance of a PhD research project is imperative in most cases. Many PhDs would like to see their work of four years having an impact on society, with outputs that can be used fruitfully. However, applying the research on daily life is often more difficult and not always easy to visualize.
