Workshop: boosting self-confidence for your PhD career

A PhD track never goes to plan. Sometimes you can just feel stuck. Nothing to be ashamed about, but it can lower your self-esteem. When you feel insecure, it can have negative consequences such as difficult communication with your supervisors and extreme perfectionism.

In this workshop guided by Dr.ir Marlies Zonderland-Thomassen, a  professional coach specialised in coaching PhD students, you will learn what the cause is of your lowered self-esteem, and more importantly; what you can do to boost your self-confidence. Several coaching techniques will be used and models from Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) are demonstrated how to transform internal beliefs which hinder your project. In the end of the workshop, you will have an action plan ready how to boost your self-confidence!
